Who is Freddy Marfort?
Freddy started training Muay Thai at 14 and competed for several years before turning to teaching. Today he helps students lose weight, compete or learn self-defense, with a strong emphasis on focus and hard work.
He corners the team on fight nights, from first amateur bouts to title events. Outside the gym he has taught seminars at other schools and trained with Muay Thai legend Saenchai.
"Don't brag about your accomplishments, show them through your dedication."
What is his coaching style?
In his words, Muay Thai is respect, "from trainees of all levels to coaches as it is from coaches to trainees."
He describes the gym as a place where "you feel welcome as soon as you start," with no egos, where you will train hard, sweat, laugh, and improve your fighting game and fitness level.
